Certain 2022-2024MY Tucson Hybrid (NX4 P/HEV) and 2021-2023MY Santa Fe Hybrid (TM P/HEV) vehicles may experience reduced engine power, or no start condition when driving in cold ambient temperatures, due to a partial or complete obstruction of the intercooler lower hose caused by moisture accumulation leading to ice formation. This bulletin provides instructions to update the ECM to prevent this condition.

On certain 2026-2027MY IONIQ 9 (ME1), 2025-2026MY Tucson (NX4), Tucson Hybrid (NX4 HEV), and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid (NX4 PHEV) vehicles, the Data Connectivity Unit (DCU) used for remote functions such as BlueLink may fail to connect to the wireless network as 3G cellular services are terminated across Canada. This bulletin provides instructions to update the DCU to connect to 4G networks to ensure uninterrupted remote command functionality. This update has also been released as an OverThe-Air (OTA) update.

Certain 2025MY Tucson (NX4a) and 2022-2025MY Santa Cruz (NX4 OB) vehicles may experience a condition where the windshield wipers do not return to the correct park position due to a loose wiper motor crank arm nut. The warranty period for the windshield wiper motor crank arm nut has been extended to 10 years or 160,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the date of original delivery. This bulletin provides the procedure to replace the windshield wiper motor crank arm nut.

Certain 2026-2027MY IONIQ 9 (ME1) vehicles may experience a condition where the Digital Key proximity control function operates at a greater distance than intended, resulting in unintended outside door handle pop-up and activation of the welcome function. This may lead to increased 12V battery consumption. This bulletin provides instructions to update the Ultra Wideband (UWB) to address this concern. This update has also been released as an Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

Certain 2024-2026MY Santa Fe Hybrid (MX5 HEV) may have the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminated with DTC P24BD00 – EVAP System Leak Detection Pump Vacuum Switching Valve Control Circuit/Open and/or DTC P240000 EVAP System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit/Open. This bulletin provides instructions to repair the Evaporative Leak Check Module (ELCM) wiring to correct this condition.

Certain 2026MY IONIQ 5 (NE1) vehicles may be assembled with faulty power tailgate drive units. This bulletin provides instructions to inspect the power tailgate drive unit, and if necessary, to replace them.

The rear center seat belt buckle equipped on certain 2024-2026MY Kona (SX2) and Kona Electric (SX2 EV) may have been manufactured outside of specification, which could adversely affect seat belt performance during a crash. This bulletin provides instructions to replace the rear center seat belt buckle.

Certain 2019-2021MY Tucson (TL) vehicles equipped with the Nu 2.0 GDI engine, may illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) with DTC P0420, Catalytic Converter System Bank 1 - Efficiency Below Threshold. The warranty coverage for the manifold catalytic converter has been extended to 15 years or 240,000 km, whichever occurs first, from date of original delivery. This bulletin provides instructions to inspect the Catalytic Converter and replace if necessary.
