In certain 2024-2026MY Sonata (DN8) and 2026MY Sonata Hybrid (DN8 HEV) vehicles the Auto Temperature Control Unit (ATCU) may fail to enter sleep mode when the vehicle is locked and may result in 12V battery drain. Additionally, the HVAC controller may remain blank when Bluelink remote engine start function is used. This bulletin provides instructions to update the ATCU to prevent these conditions. This update has also been released as an Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

Certain 2026MY Palisade Hybrid (LX3 HEV) vehicles may experience false diagnostic trouble codes after Bluelink Remote Start due to Vehicle Platform Controller (VPC) logic error.
