Certain 2025-2026MY Venue (QX) vehicles may experience malfunction of the horn due to insufficient soldering within the horn assembly. The warranty coverage for the horn has been extended to 10 years or 200,000 km, whichever occurs first, from date of original delivery. This bulletin provides instructions to replace the horn assembly with an improved part.

Certain 2021MY Kona (OS) vehicles equipped with 1.6 T-GDI engine may experience performance issues with exhaust gas emissions and PM emissions due to insufficiently optimized ECU calibration data. This bulletin provides instructions to perform an ECU upgrade to improve emissions logic.

A Battery Management System (BMS) ECU upgrade is available for 2019-2023MY Kona Electric (OS EV) and 2020-2021MY IONIQ Electric (AE EV) vehicles. This upgrade adds improved battery monitoring logic (DDQT) for early detection of high voltage battery faults.

Certain 2026MY Palisade (LX3) vehicles may exhibit misfire and/or illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) with DTC P030X or P0016 due to a fault in the Engine Control Module (ECM) logic. This bulletin provides instructions to update the ECM to correct this condition.

Certain 2015-2016MY Elantra (UD/MD) and 2016MY Elantra GT (GD) vehicles are equipped with faulty driver airbag (DAB) inflators that could rupture during a commanded deployment event, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. This bulletin provides the procedure to inspect and replace the DAB inflator.

Certain 2022-2023 Tucson Hybrid (NX4 P/HEV) and 2022-2023 Santa Fe Hybrid (TM P/HEV vehicles may experience a malfunction indicator light (MIL) illumination accompanied by DTC P2601 – Coolant Pump Control Circuit Range/Performance, due to a malfunction of the Auxiliary Electronic Water Pump (AEWP). Vehicles with malfunctioning AEWP will operate in EV mode and continuously consume energy of the high voltage battery due to engine starting failure. This bulletin provides instructions to inspect the AEWP and engine control wiring harness and replace if necessary.

Certain 2020-2025MY Palisade (LX2) vehicles may experience oil leak from the mating surface between the engine block and the oil filter housing. The warranty period for the engine oil filter housing has been extended to 15 years or 240,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the date of original delivery. This bulletin provides the procedure to inspect the engine oil filter housing for indications of oil leakage and replace the oil seal if necessary.

Certain 2026MY Sonata (DN8) and Sonata Hybrid (DN8 HEV) vehicles may exhibit a condition where the fuel filler door requires excessive force to open. This bulletin provides procedures to inspect the fuel filler door push opener for proper operation and, if necessary, replace the push opener to correct this condition.
